4U, a premiere beauty retail concept of Salam Studio and Stores kicks off the celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month through Pink Together – a special event at The Gate Mall on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

The 2-hour interactive event hopes to connect everyone as a link featuring 3 notable speakers covering various aspects that revolve around the disease:

Nicola Simpson

"Why do you get up in the morning? What do you want to achieve? If you are struggling to answer this question – STOP! Right now STOP- and ask yourself, why do you do what you do? What is my purpose? This is a simple question, with a challenging answer, because if you are struggling to understand why you are doing what you do – then you need to find the answer".

Nicola Simpson is a Cancer Survivor. Her personal philosophy has always been about “Exceeding Expectations” and this she does with natural flair and enthusiasm. Nicola has over 2 decades of experience in adventure, training and making an impact, often in challenging situations.

Nicola partners with people to understand their needs and develop solutions to exceed expectations. She combines her experience, with a high level of infectious energy and a deep understanding of the human psyche to create powerful experiences that she lives with enthusiasm and meaningful impact. Nicola is a Cancer survivor.

Nicole van Hattem

"Food is a tool that we can each use to build or break our bodies and often we are unaware of the power that our daily meal choices have over the way that our bodies function and continuously heal. Knowing which foods to focus on and which foods to free ourselves from are key to our health and healing. In this talk we will cover some food fundamentals that relate to cancer, detoxing and healing. Your power is on your plate".

Nicole van Hattem is a wellness guru, successful entrepreneur, sought after motivational health speaker, and specializes in coaching people through holistic health transformations.

A regular guest expert speaker at major cancer awareness events and community health awareness programs with attendance reaching into the tens of thousands, Nicole is considered a trusted expert in the field of health and wellness in the region. With her passionate determination to transform health, and her unique blend of corporate experience, holistic health knowledge, energy, sense of humor, varied communication channels and practical change strategies, Nicole is quickly becoming a household name.

Carla Tabet

Carla Tabet is a beauty expert who handles training for Salam Perfumes and Cosmetics Division. She has a long-standing experience in beauty transformations and techniques of the trade.

With time for Q&As, guest speakers will be happy to entertain questions to be as much informative and enlightening. At some point, we believe that talks will be very emotional and moving, as much as motivational as we tackle breast cancer awareness.
