This winter break, we are excited to bring to you “Inspired by Hadiqaa”, our special series of workshops celebrating the natural world and inspired by our blooming garden at Education City Micro Farm.

From planting to arts and craft, these workshops promise interactive and educational experiences that ignite curiosity, foster creativity and instill an appreciation for gardening.

About This Workshop:

Embroidery inspired by the beauty of nature. In this workshop, kids will be learning basic stitching techniques, drawing inspiration from the surrounding garden setting to stitch flowers and plants onto fabric.

Kids will:

• Learn the basic stitching techniques.
• Develop fine motor skills.
• Express artistry and creativity through crafting nature inspired designs.
• Enhance observation skills.
• Connect with nature.

Each participant will receive their own embroidery kit. The embroidery kit includes: hoop, cloth, needle, scissor, 10 shades embroidery thread.

• Date: Saturday, 30 December AND 6 January
• Time: 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• Duration: 2 sessions * 1 hr each
• Age group: 8 years old and above
• Location: Education City Micro Farm
• Price: 250 QR per participant for 2 sessions
