Illumination II – Introduction to Illuminating Arabic Kufic script: In this practical workshop, participants will to draw free hand floral motifs from examples in the Islamic tradition and to apply these to a piece of to Arabic Kufic script. Students will work through the stages of illuminating their design using gouache gold and watercolour.
