With the diverse and busy calendar of events and activities in Qatar, the country’s African community could not go without an event of their own.
Nviiri Sande better known as Nviiri the Storyteller is a popular Kenyan singer and songwriter famous for his virtuoso guitar skills and unique voice. As a child he enjoyed listening to Celine Dion and Lutha Vandrose, so he joined the music club at his high school. After school, Nviiri got a degree in mechanical engineering and started working at his father’s workshop where he soon got fired for singing too much at work. Then he started earning money as a songwriter through royalties and kept going to auditions. Nviiri was eventually selected among other artists for the Sol Generation record label and soon became one of its best performers.
The event will take place this coming Thursday night 12th October 2023, from 7:30 pm to 2:00 am in the Empire Club at Ivory Inn Hotel, Doha.
Ladies will be admitted free of charge until 10:00 pm.
Age limit is 21 years old and above.
