After successful joint ventures in the past Sealine Beach Resort and Red Apple Events and Media are joining hands again to produce a cultural spectacle one of its kind on the 29th of October 2012
Mela is a Sanskrit word meaning 'gathering' or 'to meet' or a fair. In recent times "Mela" also popularly refers to shows and exhibitions. It can be theme-based, promoting a particular culture, art or skill. Generally in "melas" people can find eateries, entertainment activities, shops and games.

Mela 2012 at Sealine will be a gathering of families to showcase tradition, culture and fashion. The highlight of the event will be Dandiya Raas, and In Dandiya Raas groups of families dance in two circles, with sticks in their hands.
The event that will start from 5pm onwards during the Eid Holidays will feature stalls serving cuisines from all over India, textiles, traditional mela games, handi crafts and more. Live street musicians, tableaus from around different zones of India and traditional dance forms will do their performances within the crowd making it more interactive
ROOPALEE also known as the Dandiya Garba Queen of Ahmedabad (capital city of where the dandiya dance originates) will entice the crowd with her mix of exclusive dandiya and graba tunes. With her oozing creativity and good sense of rhythm she has composed many foot tapping remixes successfully played at many events in Ahmedabad. An in-depth knowledge of sound and light compliments her skills as a DJ. She has also released a good number of dandiya and garba remixes that is played all over India
PAROMA, India’s most talked about music talent will be treating the crowd to Bollywood remixes, Bhangra tunes and she will also be releasing an exclusive track for Mela 2012.
SHAGGY, is the young music sensation of Doha, just graduated from Stenden University will be exhibiting his distinctive fusion music mixing, that will definitely be an exhibition one of its kind at Mela 2012
ANSH will be doing the finale of Mela 2012 with his own remixes from albums Desiliscious and Global Desi. Ansh is the most acclaimed Bollywood music producer based in Doha and he definitely has all ingredients that can get the crowd moving
