The exhibit wraps up this Saturday, May 26, and to mark the occasion Mathaf are offering free admission and a variety of activities for the whole family.
Cai Guo-Qiang will be there in person for a book signing and talks. There will also be a zine making workshop and live performances.
Cai Guo-Qiang is best known for his unique art installations created with gun powder / and his equally impressive fireworks displays. Point is, he’s very talented, and you should definitely check out his work while you can.

Now is your last chance to experience the spectacular artworks in the exhibition Cai Guo-Qiang: Saraab that re-imagine historical relations between China and the Gulf region. Join us on May 26th for a closing celebration consisting of Cai Guo-Qiang in conversation with Qatari artist and writer Abdulwahed al- Mawlawi, art-making activities for the whole family, live musical performances, a book signing, and many other activities.
