Al Maha Island Aquathlon 2024

Events Details

‎‏QTRI Team has collaborated with AL MAHA Island to host the 2nd edition of the Al Maha Island Aquathlon, which will take place on 13 April 2024.

The Aquathlon which will have a 1 km swim and 5 km run, requires pre-registration and is only for men.

Race conditions will be as follows:

• This race is open for MEN ONLY

• Your age on 31 December 2024 will be the basis of which age group you will belong.

• A minimum of 5 competing athletes per category is required to award a podium. Categories with lower participation numbers will be combined at the organizer's discretion.

Event Timings

• 5:00 am - Race Chips collection and Transition area opens

• 6:00 am - Race Chips collection and Transition area closes

• 6:00 am - Warm Up

• 6:15 am - Mandatory Race Briefing

• 6:30 am - Race start

• 7:30 am - Swim Cut-Off Time (remaining athletes in the water will be DNF)

• 9 am - Estimated time of Medal Ceremony
