Events Details

Ajyal brings the best of cinema from around the world to Doha audiences, and films for families and every age group are on offer throughout the Festival. There’s a special focus on films made right here in Qatar; short films for children as young as 4; brilliant examples of animation, drama, and comedy; and heavy-hitting documentaries for the serious cinephile.

Tickets go on sale Sunday, 3 November at 2PM, Doha Local Time.

Ticket Prices

A physical ticket is required to gain entry to all ticketed screenings and events.*

Customers may purchase a maximum of six (6) tickets per screening per order.
Discount tickets are not available online, and are only available in person at ticket outlet locations.

*Free screenings and events presented in Festival venues other than the SONY Cinema Under the Stars require a ticket for admission.
Free tickets may be reserved online or requested at any ticket outlet location.
All screenings at the SONY Cinema Under the Stars are free and do not require tickets.
Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All sales are final. No Refunds. No Exchanges. No Reprints.

Culture Pass by Qatar Museums

As an official sponsor of the Ajyal Film Festival, Culture Pass by Qatar Museums is offering all Culture Pass holders a QR 5 discount on Short Film Screenings, and a QR 10 discount on all General and Opening Night Screenings when they present their Culture Pass at a Festival ticket outlet. Discount tickets may only be purchased in person; Culture Pass holders may buy up to two (2) discounted tickets per screening.
