EUNIC Qatar invites you to the first edition of The European Film Festival in Doha

18 – 23 October 2018, MIA Auditorium

The European Cultural Cluster (EUNIC) is pleased to invite you to the first edition of the European Film Festival in Doha, in partnership with the Museum of Islamic Art. This festival is an excellent opportunity to present the EU cultural diversity with screenings of outstanding films contributed by EU Member States, reflecting the official motto of the EU: “United in Diversity”.

The screenings will take place from Friday, October 18th 2018 to Tuesday, 23th October 2018 at the auditorium of the Museum of Islamic Art. There will be 2 screenings per day (5 pm and 8 pm) with the exception of the Opening on 18/10 with the Austrian film and on 21/10 with the Romanian film (8 pm).

Cinema lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy the screenings of the best European films.

All films are screened in original language with English Subtitles

All films are rated 15 +

About EUNIC:

European Union National Institutes for Culture is Europe’s network of national cultural institutes, with 35 members composed of the national cultural institutes and other main cultural organizations from the 28 EU member states, established in over 150 countries. EUNIC members work in the arts, languages, youth, education, science, society, intercultural dialogue and development.

The EUNIC cluster in Qatar is the first of its kind to be established in the GCC. It gathers EU countries represented in Qatar with the aim to promote cultural and linguistic diversity and develop exchanges between European and Qatari youth and foster European and Qatari artists exchanges. The EUNIC cluster in Qatar contributes to enhancing the cultural relationships between EU member States and Qatar and promoting the cultural diversity of Europe.
