Meet our Panel Speakers:

Dr Felice Watt is a consultant psychiatrist from Western Australia who joined the Department of Psychiatry at Sidra 2 years ago to develop the women’s mental health service, the first of its kind in the region. She is delighted to have been recently asked to lead the Perinatal Workstream as part of Qatar’s National Mental Health and Wellbeing Taskforce, and is committed to working with health professionals and community stakeholders to develop a national plan to support the emotional wellbeing of mothers, their babies and families during the pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Dr Naomi Hynd, is a UK trained Clinical Psychologist and Dramatherapist currently working in perinatal mental health at Sidra. She is passionate about mental health promotion. Prior to joining Sidra she worked in Stroke and General Neuropsychology and regularly ran lectures for patients and families about managing their mental health. She has also worked with actors and Drama schools encouraging performers to manage stress and mood.

Dr Zainab Imam is a consultant adult and perinatal psychiatrist from the UK, who joined Sidra Medicine just over a year ago. Dr Imam champions access to quality and safe care in the perinatal period in her role at Sidra Medicine and she encourages public engagement in mental health through talks and convening the celebration of the World Maternal Mental Health Day in Qatar.

Dr Syeda Monazza Ali is a lead perinatal psychiatrist for outpatient clinic service at Sidra medicine. Dr Ali has completed her specialty training in the United Kingdom and has a wealth of experience managing complex psychiatric patients suffering with a wide range of mental health disorders and psychosocial issues in a multidisciplinary environment. She has been actively involved in promoting mental health and education .
