If you love theatre, you’re in for a treat this March. The Doha Players are performing Macbeth, one of Shakespeare’s most celebrated plays, with a cast of around 30 local actors bringing to life the immortal tale of the ambitious Scottish noble who’s driven by his scheming wife to murder a king.
Directed by Mione van der Merwe, the creative talent behind last year’s Doha Players production of Les Misérables, Macbeth stars David Pearson in the lead role and Rowan Denny as Lady Mac.
Macbeth will be performed March 12 to 19 at the Black Box Theatre in Education City. Tickets are QR100 and are now available from www.q-tickets.com/events/macbeth-play-live-doha
NOTE: The show will be performed at 7.30pm on 12 Mar, 13 Mar, 15 Mar, 18 Mar and 19 Mar. There will be a 4.30pm performance on 14 Mar.
