To coincide with the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Library is pleased to announce the second annual Beautiful Athan contest. This contest is open to all community members who meet the following conditions:

You must be a Qatari citizen or resident
The top three participants in last year's contest may not enter this year
Please make sure your recordings use the correct Arabic pronunciation and vocal harmony

You may submit more than one recording for the contest. Please submit your recordings to: [email protected]. The top three places will be awarded prizes.

All entries must be received by Thursday, 16 May 2019 at 11:59 PM.

Please note that the Ramadan Timings for the library are 9 am to 4 pm and it will be closed on Fridays.
