Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC) has announced that Qatar Sustainability Week 2017 will be under the patronage of Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani. The week-long initiative, which hosts numerous sustainability events across the country, will take place from October 28 to November 4. Qatar Sustainability Week grants stakeholders from the public and private sectors an opportunity to promote the nation’s sustainability vision and address society’s understanding of, and attitude towards, the concept. It will also highlight the key role the wider community plays in advancing Qatar’s long-term ‘green’ agenda.
