The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara announced its events associated with FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

General Manager of Katara Cultural Village Foundation Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti said that the foundation is set to organize 51 events, including 300 sub-events with the participation of 22 countries during the period from November 18 to December 18, 2022, adding that such events are distributed to five key branches, including festivals, ceremonies, exhibitions, live presentations, and events.

EXHIBITIONS:

El Salvador Embassy Exhibition: Artist RODOLFO OVIEDO VEGA exhibition

• Rodolfo Oviedo Vega is an eminent artist painter, interior designer, and cultural administrator from El Salvador. In 2016, he was awarded by the French Government for his cultural work and for consolidating links between France and Latin America.

Paraguay Embassy Art Exhibition

• In a unique concept, this exhibition will feature eight pieces of art inspired by the stadiums that will host the matches of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Each piece will consist of an official soccer ball of the event mixed with designs inspired by each stadium and the inspiration behind each one.

Uruguay Embassy: First World Cup Art Exhibition

• Forty-eight photographs of the first World Cup held in Uruguay, capturing rare and important moments and scenes from the historic event.

Dominican Embassy Exhibition: Faces of the World

• The exhibition will consist of portraits of the most famous football players from all over the world, giving football lovers an opportunity to learn about the stars who ruled the pitches.

Bosnian Embassy Folklore Dance (1001 Noc)

• At the event of the Bosnian Embassy, through the Folklore Society, the audience will enjoy a range of activities such as the folklore ensemble. vocal instruments, modern dance, and drama.

Indonesian Embassy Exhibition: The Making of BATIK exhibition

• The techniques, symbolism, and culture surrounding hand-dyed cotton and silk garments known as Indonesian Batik which permeate the lives of Indonesians of all ages.

Indonesian Embassy: The ANGKLUNG Performance

• Angklung is an Indonesian musical instrument consisting of two to four bamboo tubes suspended in a bamboo frame, bound with rattan cords. The angklung is popular throughout the world, but it originated in what is now West Java and Banten provinces in Indonesia

Ecuador Embassy Event: A Franz Del Castillo Exhibition Ecuador The Country of The 4 Worlds

• The activities of the Ecuadorean Embassy, by constructing a mural made of natural flowers with the flags of Qatar and Ecuador, also a musical group that will play traditional music and craftsmen weaving the Tuquilta hats made of straw.

Russian Embassy Dance Performance

• Studio ballet, Arabesques Qatar" is a participant in many International and Russian competitions such as Sozvezdie. Tanec, and others. They will perform the Folklore Dance performance in Katara

Mexican Embassy Event: MIME: Mimo Ramón

• Ramón Solano is the most famous and greatest mime artist in Mexico. He has developed a technique of his own, which has captivated at least two generations. He has mostly performed in the exquisite Coyoacan square, and he has the ability to get people's attention for long periods of time, regardless of spoken language or culture.
