Events Details

Join MIA as we celebrate International Museum Day (10 May 2018, due to Ramadan) with a host of programmes in the museum. This year's theme is 'hyper connectivity' and focuses on the networks we make with each other, our visitors, other museums, which make the world seem so much closer to us all.

MIA will connect you with a wide variety of opportunities to learn more about Islamic Art and MIA with drop in Library activities from 10:00 – 16:00, a choice of public tours offered at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00, Treasure Hunts at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 and finally art workshops throughout the day (please register online in advance).

For full details see our website at www.mia.org.qa or www.qm.org.qa/eduation.

Spend half an hour or half a day, it's up to you!

MIA would be honoured to welcome you to take part in this special event.
