The collection at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) includes numerous objects from across the Islamic world. This class explores three lesser-known dynasties, their art, achievements, and legacy for modern-day Islamic culture.
You will look at domestic and royal environments, understand how they became part of the Islamic world and what they brought with them from their pre-Islamic past. Students will create timelines, look at geography and art, and develop an appreciation for lesser-known dynasties and their impact on our world.
Date and Timings:
- Weekdays, September 2021 to June 2022, from 9 am till noon
Languages: Arabic and English
