Banana Island Resort Doha to mark National Sports Day 2019 with a range of celebrations and offers

In celebration of the eighth National Sports Day on February 12, 2019, Banana Island Resorts Doha has launched a series of events and activities aimed at encouraging guests and visitors of the resort to engage in sports, restore vitality, revitalize and refresh their bodies.

On the National Sports Day, the resort’s guests and visitors using the “Hello Beautiful Weather” package will be entitled to enjoy a variety of sporting activities hosted by the resort such as beach football and beach volleyball tournaments, which will be held from 9 am to 12 noon.

For those who seek calm, tranquility and meditation, Yoga classes will be held at the beach area from 9 am till 12 noon, where a Yoga Instructor will teach the participants breathing and stretching techniques and highlight the benefits of Yoga in our daily lives.

For guests looking for high intensity training, they can participate in sports relay exercises and circuit training on workout machines placed on the beach by moving from one station (machine) to the next in progressive sequence with minimal or no rest in between. This activity will start from 9 am till noon.

Furthermore, tennis instructors will provide basic training for different age groups starting from 9 am till noon. At the watersports area, a bike race will take place and guests willing to take this challenge can test their riding prowess from 12 noon till 1 pm.

The organizers of the National Sports Day activities at the Banana Island Resort Doha have made special arrangements for children as well. The resort will offer a variety of activities for children to participate with their parents from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in an atmosphere full of fun and joy. The activities will include balloon relay, Tug of War and sack race relay.

Adding to the sports day festivity, a variety of games will also be available on the beach from 9 am to 5 pm, such as badminton, giant chess, foosball, bouncing castles, table tennis and mini golf.

The “Hello Beautiful Weather” package includes multiple perks, ensuring fun time for all the resort’s visitors.
