Over 600 athletes, schoolchildren, and inspirational individuals carried the flag across Qatar last year (2017)—a feat that unintentionally broke a world record.

This year’s edition will be bigger and greater through more participants, longer distance, and an attempt to break multiple World Guinness Records including most people in cycling relay, and most people running in 100 meters in 1 hour relay outdoor.

The record will be made by both public participants and athletes.
